In early 2015, I co-founded a new online venture, ThisIsArdee.ie. This Is Ardee was to be an online hub for the town of Ardee, Co. Louth - designed with residents, local businesses and visitors in mind. Acting as the co-founder and lead designer, my main task was to create an impactful brand and design assets to attract and engage users.
Across three years, ThisIsArdee.ie amassed a total of 12,000 social media followers and received on average 16,000 to 20,000 unique readers (Ardee has a population of approx. 5,000) per month. ThisIsArdee.ie established itself as a hugely respected feature of the Ardee and Mid-Louth community, as well as amongst other media outlets as a source for reliable, up to date news.
